This course is tailored for those eager to learn sewing or refine your techniques, while laying the groundwork for future projects! Participants will have the chance to design and craft their own tote bag perfect for a carry-all or a great gift! Skills you will learn: - Threading the machine & bobbin winding - Tension & troubleshooting basics - Fundamental construction and seaming techniques - Fabric prep, pinning, pressing, spreading & cutting Additional techniques & skills including applique', hand-stitching, pockets, lining, buttonholes, hemming, repairing existing garments, repurposing and more are available to explore!
